Connect Slack in 3 steps
Add the Spike app to your workspace and start getting incidents in Slack in minutes.
Step 1: Add Spike to Slack
On the Slack integration page in Spike, click “Add to Slack” and authorize the app for your workspace — one OAuth click, no admin scripting.
Step 2: Point your escalation at Slack
Edit the escalation policy that handles your alerts, add Slack as a step, and pick the channels incidents should post to — that’s what routes alerts into Slack.
Step 3: Send a test alert
Fire a test incident from Spike and watch the card land in Slack, ready to acknowledge.
That’s it — incidents now flow into Slack and back.
