The OpsGenie alternative for enterprise teams

Spike is an incident management software built for enterprise teams. If you're moving off OpsGenie, we set up every account for you and help you move each team in phases. We support you in a private Slack channel and prioritise the features you ask for.

Move every team off OpsGenie without missing an alert

We handle the setup and guide every step of the move. OpsGenie keeps alerting in the background until each team is ready to switch.

  1. Every account, set up for you

You send us a list of names and emails. We create every account and build your schedules and escalations with your admins.

  2. Both tools, side by side

We help connect your monitoring tools so each alert reaches OpsGenie and Spike. Your teams check Spike while OpsGenie keeps them covered.

  3. One team at a time

We move each team over once its alerts look right in Spike. Nobody has to change tools on the same day.

  4. OpsGenie, switched off

Once the last team has moved, you cancel OpsGenie well before support ends on April 5, 2027. Our team stays with you in Slack after that.

“We ran OpsGenie and Spike together for about a month, and everything lined up.”

Everything your teams run on OpsGenie, ready in Spike

Schedules, escalations and routing work the way your teams already know. Each team keeps its own setup.

Each team gets its own on-call schedules, with overrides, follow-the-sun rotations and calendar sync built in.

Alert routing

Routing rules send each alert to the team that owns the service. Nobody gets alerted for something they don't run.

Slack and Microsoft Teams

Each team gets alerts and incident updates in the chat tool it already uses. Spike works with Slack and Microsoft Teams, even when your organization runs both.

Config as code

Manage on-call the way you manage infrastructure, through Terraform, the API or our MCP server. One change can reach every team at once.

Integrations that go deep

A long list of integrations matters less than what each one does with your alerts.

Browse integrations
  • ChatOps with Spike AI

Responders acknowledge, resolve and add notes without leaving Slack. When someone mentions @Spike in a thread, Spike AI helps run the incident.

  • Outbound webhooks

Spike can send incident events to any tool you run, from an internal dashboard to your ITSM platform.

  • Two-way Jira sync

Leaving OpsGenie doesn't mean leaving Jira. Spike syncs incidents and Jira tickets both ways, so an update on one shows up on the other.

  • Help desks and trackers

Customer tickets in Zendesk or Freshdesk can alert whoever is on-call, and follow-up tasks go to Linear or ClickUp.

SSO, roles and permissions for every team

Admins decide who signs in, what each person can change and who can post on your status page.

SSO you can enforce
Only people from your company email domains. Admins can make SAML SSO the only way in, on the web and on the mobile app.
Roles and permissions
Four built-in roles cover admins, managers, responders and viewers. Custom roles and per-person permissions handle everything in between.
Status page access
Status pages have their own access settings. Only the people you choose can publish an update.
Separate teams, one account
Spike supports multiple teams in one account. Each team keeps its own schedules and escalation policies.

Ready for your security review

We fill in your security questionnaire and sign your DPA.

  • GDPR

Spike is GDPR compliant, with a DPA ready to sign.

  • Encrypted data

All data is encrypted at rest with AES-256. Phone numbers, emails and tokens are never sent in plain text.

  • Certified data centres

Spike runs in ISO and FedRAMP-certified data centres.

See who changed what, and when

Every change and every alert leaves a record your auditors can follow.

  • Audit logs

A record of who created, changed or deleted anything in Spike.

  • Incident activity

Each incident keeps a timeline of alerts, acknowledgements and notes.

  • Escalation history

A record of who was alerted at each level and who responded.

  • Reports and exports

Incident reports and a CSV export of on-call shifts.

Our payments team moves next week. Can you help us set up their escalation policy first?

Spike teamSPIKE10:46

Yes. We've drafted one from your current setup. Want us to walk your admins through it on a quick call?

Jordan Reid10:47

That would be great. Thursday works for us.
