Stakin by The Tie uses Spike as part of its 24/7 alerting, incident management and on-call operations.
Stakin by The Tie provides non-custodial staking and Web3 infrastructure, helping institutional clients stake their assets while contributing to the security of blockchain networks. With 7+ years of operating experience across 30+ networks and more than $1 billion in assets staked, with no slashing, Stakin by The Tie provides institutional-grade infrastructure where reliability and rapid incident response are critical.
Edouard Lavidalle, Head of Staking at Stakin by The Tie, shared how Spike has become part of the team's day-to-day incident response.
"We use Spike as part of our 24/7 alerting, incident management and on-call operations. Alerts are routed to the appropriate team through on-call rotations and escalation policies, with multi-channel notifications across company messaging, email and phone calls, ensuring that critical incidents reach the right people quickly."
Automating incident response with Playbooks
Stakin by The Tie also makes extensive use of Playbooks to automate parts of its incident response, including triggering and resolving incidents based on alerts.
"Spike's ability to trigger alerts programmatically and through dedicated phone numbers provides an additional operational channel. For example, in the event of an emergency upgrade on a blockchain network, a client can report an urgent issue that immediately enters our internal incident workflow, allowing our blockchain team to respond quickly."
